Biography
The Flying Lizards were a loose English experimental collective formed in 1976 around producer David Cunningham, drawing on avant-garde and free-improvising players and rotating vocalists. Their robotic 1979 cover of 'Money', sung by Deborah Evans-Stickland, was an unlikely transatlantic hit. Three studio albums followed, from the 1980 debut to the all-covers 'Top Ten' in 1984, when Cunningham retired the project.
