Biography
The Lemonheads are an American alternative rock band formed in Boston in 1986 by Evan Dando, Ben Deily and Jesse Peretz. After three indie albums on #Taang! Records#, they signed to #Atlantic Records# and found mainstream success with 'It's a Shame About Ray' (1992) and 'Come On Feel the Lemonheads' (1993). Membership has been fluid ever since, with Dando the only constant member, and the band has continued intermittently, releasing 'The Lemonheads' in 2006 and covers albums in 2009 and 2019, remaining best known for Dando's melodic, slacker-pop songwriting.
