Biography
The Locust are an American hardcore band formed in San Diego in 1994 by Justin Pearson and Bobby Bray. Dressed as insects, they play seconds-long blasts of grindcore-influenced punk, heard on 'The Locust', 'Plague Soundscapes' and 'New Erections'. Keyboardist Joey Karam and drummer Gabe Serbian completed the classic line-up; Serbian died in 2022. Their live shows are famously chaotic, brief and confrontational.
