Biography
British-American supergroup The Lords of the New Church united Stiv Bators of *Dead Boys*, Brian James of *The Damned*, Dave Tregunna of *Sham 69* and Nick Turner of *The Barracudas* in 1981. More melodic and polished than punk, their three #I.R.S. Records# albums, from 'The Lords of the New Church' to 'The Method to Our Madness', blended post-punk, glam and gothic rock before the band split in 1989.
