The Nation of Ulysses

The Nation of Ulysses was an influential American post-hardcore band from Washington, D.C. (1988–1992), known for their chaotic live shows, far-left political theatrics, and mix of punk with free jazz. Led by vocalist Ian Svenonius, they released two acclaimed albums on Dischord Records—13-Point Program to Destroy America and Plays Pretty for Baby—before disbanding.
