Album Notes & Community Reviews

A compilation of demo and outtake recordings by Washington, D.C. band The Nation of Ulysses, fronted by Ian Svenonius and active from 1988 to 1992, 'The Embassy Tapes' gathers material from before and around the group's Dischord albums. Its raw, sarcastic art punk documents the band's formative sound, eight years after their breakup.
