Biography
The Shadow Ring was an experimental group from Cheriton, Kent, formed in 1993 by Graham Lambkin and Darren Harris, with Tim Goss joining on electronics. Its albums, among them 'City Lights' (1993), 'Wax-Work Echoes' (1996) and 'Lighthouse' (1999), fused folk, noise, tape loops and spoken word into a uniquely austere lo-fi sound and a touchstone of British underground music. The group disbanded in 2003.
