Biography
The Stylistics are a Philadelphia soul vocal group formed in 1968, whose classic five-man line-up, fronted by Russell Thompkins Jr.'s falsetto, defined the *Thom Bell*-produced Philly sound with hits such as 'You Are Everything', 'Betcha by Golly, Wow' and 'You Make Me Feel Brand New'. The group continues to perform under founding members Airrion Love and Herb Murrell. Their records helped define the polished, orchestral soul sound of early-1970s Philadelphia.
