Biography
Them were a Northern Irish rock band formed in Belfast in 1964, fronted in their hit years by Van Morrison. Their singles 'Gloria', 'Baby Please Don't Go' and 'Here Comes the Night' made them a leading British Invasion era R&B act, on the albums 'The Angry Young Them' (1965) and 'Them Again' (1966). After Morrison left in 1966, bassist Alan Henderson continued the band in the United States through four more studio albums, and original members reunited for 'Shut Your Mouth' in 1979.
