Biography
American satirist Tom Lehrer (1928-2025), a Harvard mathematician by day, wrote and performed some of the sharpest comic songs ever recorded: 'The Elements', 'Poisoning Pigeons in the Park' and 'The Vatican Rag'. His self-released albums on #Lehrer Records# and the live 'That Was the Year That Was' (1965) made him a legend of musical satire. In 2020 he waived all rights to his songs, placing them in the public domain for anyone to perform..
