Biography
Victor Feldman was a London-born jazz vibraphonist and pianist (1934–1987) who rose from child prodigy in the 1950s British jazz scene to a central figure in American jazz, playing with *Cannonball Adderley* and *Miles Davis* before becoming one of Los Angeles's most in-demand studio musicians. His touch on both vibes and piano bridged hard bop, modal jazz and fusion. He remains one of Britain's most accomplished jazz exports of the postwar era.
