Vision of Disorder (VOD) is a pioneering Long Island, New York-based metalcore band formed in 1992, renowned for blending intense, socially conscious hardcore punk with heavy groove/thrash metal. Known for Tim Williams' dynamic vocals—ranging from intense screams to melodic singing—and aggressive, complex instrumentation, the band, including guitarists Matt Baumbach and Mike Kennedy, bassist Mike Fleischmann, and drummer Brendon Cohen, became a staple of the late 90s alternative metal scene.
