Purportedly the work of a retired Serbian factory worker attempting to recreate the industrial hum of his past through analog synthesizers (later revealed to be the alter-ego of Italian musician Guido Zen), this release compiles his highly acclaimed early cassette tapes. The music consists of vast, glacial drones that are intensely beautiful yet suffused with crushing, heavy sorrow. It established the project as a premier force in modern cinematic drone.
