The Cool Sound of Albert Collins

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiling early, highly influential singles recorded primarily for the Hall label, this album introduces the incredibly distinct, deeply aggressive sound of the 'Master of the Telecaster.' Showcasing his fiercely unique open-minor tuning and biting, entirely fingerpicked attack, the heavily instrumental collection features early regional hits like 'Frosty,' firmly establishing his formidable reputation within the Texas electric blues scene.
