Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathering an incredible sequence of avant-garde singles released throughout 1981, 'Fourth Drawer Down' captures the Associates at their most experimental and profoundly atmospheric. Billy Mackenzie's theatrical vocals soar over deeply anxious, heavily processed synthesizers and dense tape loops, producing a profoundly mysterious, dark, and highly influential post-punk document.
