Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathering the entirety of the Olympia, Washington band's three essential 7-inch releases, this compilation serves as the definitive manifesto of the 1990s riot grrrl movement. Kathleen Hanna's fiercely feminist, confrontational vocals cut violently through rudimentary, fiercely energetic punk instrumentation. Featuring their most famous and enduring anthem, 'Rebel Girl', the collection is an incredibly vital document that fundamentally altered the gender dynamics of underground rock.
