Album Notes & Community Reviews

Expanding a 1952 10-inch release into a full LP format for Savoy Records, this compilation features pivotal sessions with a young John Coltrane and Milt Jackson. The title track, driven by fierce, explosive solos, remains one of the definitive up-tempo anthems of the bebop era.
