Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the first comprehensive overview of the pioneering German collective's early years, this compilation is an unyielding assault of industrial percussion and tape manipulation. Einstürzende Neubauten notoriously utilized custom-built instruments crafted from scrap metal, power tools, and building materials to create a terrifying, highly rhythmic sonic architecture. It remains a definitive, brutal statement on urban decay and the abrasive possibilities of avant-garde noise.
