Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiling instrumental sessions from the late 1940s, this collection places the spotlight entirely on the pianist's highly idiosyncratic, self-taught style. The recordings vividly capture his signature delayed-action right hand and rich, orchestral chord voicings.
