Album Notes & Community Reviews

Compiling an assortment of early 7-inch singles and outtakes, this release captures the Bristol group's signature 'rural psychedelia' aesthetic. Recorded entirely at home on a four-track cassette machine, the music buries fragile, whispered vocals beneath squalls of heavily distorted acoustic guitars and feedback. It serves as a beautiful, abrasive counterpoint to the polished studio productions of the contemporary shoegaze movement.
