The Third Eye Foundation

Biography

The Third Eye Foundation is the solo electronic project of Bristol musician *Matt Elliott*, who emerged from the city's space rock and drum and bass scenes around *Flying Saucer Attack* and *Amp*. From 'Semtex' (1996) on his #Linda's Strange Vacation# label through 'Ghost' (1997), 'You Guys Kill Me' (1998) and 'Little Lost Soul' (2000) for #Domino Recording Company#, he fused breakbeats with guitar noise, samples and drones. Elliott later concentrated on folk albums under his own name, returning to the Foundation for 'The Dark' (2010) and 'Wake the Dead' (2018).
