Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathering three distinct demo tapes recorded by Darkthrone's Fenriz, this compilation offers a fascinating, wildly eclectic snapshot of early Norwegian extreme metal. The recordings shift abruptly from terrifying, lo-fi black metal and primitive death-doom to sprawling, synthesizer-led Viking folk experimentation. It remains a beloved cult artifact for its bizarre charm and unfiltered, youthful ambition.
