Album Notes & Community Reviews

Assembling highly energetic singles from the mid-1950s, this collection highlights the 'King of Rhythm' and his masterful command of Northeastern Brazilian grooves. His rapid-fire, highly syncopated vocal delivery permanently modernized the traditional coco and bai茫o formats.
