Jeromes Dream was infamous for their punishing, dissonant mathcore instrumentation and vocalist Jeff Smith's entirely un-amplified, throat-shredding screams. The compiled recordings heavily defined the aesthetics of the late-90s underground screamo scene before their eventual reunion.
