Heart Ache & Dethroned

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pairs two early, highly acclaimed extended plays from Justin Broadrick's post-Godflesh project. The tracks move from crushing, mechanical industrial metal into sprawling, emotionally devastating shoegaze, perfectly illustrating his singular ability to wring profound beauty and vulnerability from oppressive sonic weight. The compilation successfully bridges the harshest and softest elements of his monumental discography.
