Biography
Jesu is the experimental project of Justin K Broadrick, formed in Abergele, Wales, in 2003 after *Godflesh* split, and named after the closing track of their album 'Hymns'. Mixing post-metal weight with shoegaze melody, Broadrick recorded the 'Heart Ache' EP alone before bassist Diarmuid Dalton and drummer Ted Parsons joined for the albums 'Jesu' in 2004 and 'Conqueror' in 2007. Later albums, including 'Ascension' in 2011 and 'Terminus' in 2020, returned Jesu to a solo project.
