Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Chicago Bound' collects Jimmy Rogers's singles of the 1950s, among them 'That's All Right', 'Ludella', 'Sloppy Drunk' and his highest-charting record 'Walking By Myself'. Rogers had been a founding guitarist of Muddy Waters's first Chicago band, the Headhunters, alongside Little Walter, and these sides define the South Side sound he helped create.
