Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Close Watch' is an introductory anthology of John Cale's solo recordings, spanning the Welsh musician's work from the drone pieces of his New York period to his baroque art rock albums. Cale's viola, piano and production work made him a bridge between the avant-garde and rock.
