Album Notes & Community Reviews

Pressure Sounds' compilation draws on Perry's Black Ark period and the singles issued around it, when his four-track studio in Kingston produced reggae's most eccentric sound. The selection favours his own productions' dense echo, phasing and drop-out arrangements over straightforward vocal cuts.
