Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released shortly following his tragically premature death following a street altercation, this posthumous compilation effectively replaces the unavailable 'The Best of Little Walter' LP. The collection gathers essential mid-1950s singles that demonstrate his revolutionary, massively amplified harmonica techniques, which essentially elevated the instrument to the status of a lead saxophone within the fierce Chicago electric blues framework.
