Album Notes & Community Reviews
Unearths the French composer's groundbreaking early electroacoustic experiments from the late 1950s and 60s. Pieces like 'H茅t茅rozygote' shattered the strict, dogmatic rules of early musique concr猫te by seamlessly integrating recognizable field recordings and narrative elements into the avant-garde tape manipulation. The archival release perfectly illustrates his transition toward anecdotal and highly personal sound art.
