Album Notes & Community Reviews

Closing out their massively productive and critically lauded first decade-and-a-half, this single-disc retrospective was personally selected by Nick Cave and his longtime bandmates. The compilation expertly navigates his evolution from the apocalyptic, gothic blues of 'Tupelo' through the lush, orchestrated murder ballads and piano-driven heartbreak of 'Into My Arms'. It acts as a brilliantly concise, unified narrative of one of rock's most formidable and literary songwriters.
