Painstakingly collects Edwyn Collins and Orange Juice's incredibly influential, pre-major label recordings originally released on the seminal Postcard Records imprint between 1979 and 1981. The compilation documents their radical decision to infuse jagged, DIY post-punk energy with romantic, Byrds-inspired jangle-pop melodies and Motown soul. It is the definitive foundational text of the entire 1980s Scottish indie-pop explosion.
