Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gathering landmark recordings from the virtuoso guitarist's mid-career period, this compilation prominently features his groundbreaking instrumental title track, which unexpectedly popularized the rumba flamenca format. The selected pieces highlight his revolutionary integration of Latin American rhythms and jazz improvisation into the strict, traditional frameworks of Andalusian flamenco.
