Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released to coincide with their highly anticipated 2010 reunion tour, this compilation provides a flawless, career-spanning overview of the definitive 1990s indie rock band. The non-chronological sequencing perfectly balances Stephen Malkmus's cryptic, literate slacker anthems with their abrasive early noise-pop and polished later hits. It remains the most concise, perfectly curated entry point into the catalog of an incredibly influential group.
