Album Notes & Community Reviews

Issued to commemorate the thirtieth anniversary of the band's debut, this brief compilation gathers the brilliant, whimsical singles composed entirely by original frontman Syd Barrett. The tracks combine surreal, childlike lyricism with avant-garde studio experimentation and driving pop structures. It serves as a pristine, essential monument to Barrett's visionary, incredibly brief tenure as the primary creative force of the group.
