Album Notes & Community Reviews

Originally serving as a compilation of early, limited-run cassette releases, 'On the Sunday of Life...' functions as the peculiar debut full-length for Steven Wilson's Porcupine Tree project. The sprawling double album is highly experimental and whimsical, blending lengthy space-rock jams with abstract psychedelic pop and surreal spoken-word interludes. It lays the imaginative, lo-fi groundwork for the much heavier progressive rock direction the band would later adopt.
