Album Notes & Community Reviews

A brilliant, sequin-draped overview of the Sheffield band's commercial zenith during the peak of the Britpop era. Anchored by generation-defining anthems like 'Common People' and 'Disco 2000', the collection perfectly encapsulates Jarvis Cocker's uniquely sardonic, highly observant lyrical examinations of class, sex, and urban decay. It features the lush, newly recorded Richard Hawley-produced track 'Last Day of the Miners' Strike'.
