Album Notes & Community Reviews
Released mere weeks before the tragic death of frontman Freddie Mercury, 'Greatest Hits II' covers Queen's later, highly synthesized and polished 1980s catalog. Documenting their shift away from progressive stadium rock toward radio-ready pop and new wave experimentation, the compilation highlights global smashes like 'Radio Ga Ga' and 'Under Pressure'. Driven by its poignant timing, it became one of the fastest-selling albums in UK history.
