Album Notes & Community Reviews

Sandwiched between his early output and the 1999-2001 era, this installment of the Downwards archival series focuses on the producer's most rhythmically relentless period. The tracks showcase a complete mastery of loop-based techno, utilizing heavily distorted percussion and abrasive, metallic atmospheres meant for pitch-black club environments. The release cements his undisputed role as the architect of the punishing Birmingham techno scene.
