Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released concurrently with the announcement of their amicable disbandment, this definitive, career-spanning retrospective covers both their underground I.R.S. years and their massive Warner Bros. commercial peak. Concluding with three newly recorded tracks explicitly written as a farewell to their fans, the collection perfectly summarizes their evolution from college-radio jangle pop pioneers into global alternative rock icons. It serves as a graceful, comprehensive conclusion to a legendary thirty-year career.
