The Autumn Stone

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as a posthumous double album following the group's dissolution, this sprawling collection attempts to summarize their entire, highly influential career. The release intriguingly mixes their classic singles with chaotic live recordings and a handful of unfinished, highly experimental studio tracks from their aborted final sessions. It stands as a slightly fragmented but incredibly fascinating final testament to one of the most innovative and beloved bands of the British psychedelic era.
