Album Notes & Community Reviews

Consolidates Jason Molina's early, scattered seven-inch singles into a cohesive document of his profound, devastating slowcore. Armed with an acoustic guitar and an impossibly sad, wavering tenor, the recordings highlight his unique ability to channel stark Midwestern isolation into poetic, lo-fi alt-country. Released following his tragic death, it acts as a deeply moving, intimate tribute to one of indie folk's greatest songwriters.
