Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reissuing two pivotal albums from the experimental rock group's early 1990s era. The collection highlights Michael Gira's transition away from punishing industrial noise toward sweeping, apocalyptic gothic-folk, utilizing acoustic instrumentation, tape loops, and Jarboe's ethereal vocal counterpoints. The massive box set fully restores an era that laid the groundwork for their legendary late-career revival.
