Album Notes & Community Reviews

Standardized to accompany the initial 1987 compact disc release of The Beatles' core UK catalog, 'Volume One' collects non-album A-sides, B-sides, and EP tracks from the first half of their career. Spanning their raucous early Merseybeat origins through the folk-rock introspection of 1965, the collection captures the explosive energy of Beatlemania. It serves to perfectly bridge the gaps between their early, fast-paced studio LPs.
