Album Notes & Community Reviews

Exclusively compiled by Capitol Records for the North American market, this release aggressively re-sequenced tracks from 'With the Beatles' alongside various singles to maximize commercial momentum. Heavily favoring the band's driving rock and roll covers and up-tempo originals, it was famously mixed with extra echo to create a louder, punchier sound. It stands as a fascinating, albeit historically contentious, artifact of how the group was aggressively marketed during the height of Beatlemania.
