Gathering the entirety of their highly influential 1980s EPs alongside material from their 1990s reformation, this double-disc anthology is the definitive overview of the pioneering New Zealand trio. The Clean's hyper-melodic, highly repetitive approach to lo-fi jangle-pop essentially established the aesthetic foundation for the legendary Flying Nun label. The comprehensive collection cemented their legacy as massive, direct inspirations to American indie stalwarts like Pavement and Yo La Tengo.
