Album Notes & Community Reviews

Chronologically sequencing their unparalleled run of UK singles, this compilation traces the Reid brothers' evolution from feedback-drenched provocateurs to polished, alternative-rock stalwarts. It flawlessly highlights their career-long obsession with cloaking pristine, Phil Spector-esque pop melodies in layers of abrasive distortion and apathetic cool. The collection remains a highly accessible, masterfully curated summary of their immense influence on the modern indie landscape.
