Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released as their inaugural greatest-hits package right at the zenith of the British Invasion, 'Big Hits' captures The Rolling Stones rapidly transitioning from gritty blues purists to era-defining rock provocateurs. The compilation highlights their breakthrough synthesis of R&B aggression and pop melodicism, heavily anchored by their massive first number one original composition, '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction'. It remains an impeccable snapshot of the band securing their status as the rebellious counterpoint to The Beatles.
