Biography
The Rolling Stones are an English rock band who pioneered a gritty, rhythm-driven sound rooted in American blues and early rock and roll. Formed in London, their initial lineup evolved, but the core songwriting partnership of Mick Jagger and Keith Richards propelled the group's rebellious, countercultural identity. After early success on #Decca Records# with covers and hits like '(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction', they entered a golden age with albums such as 'Beggars Banquet', 'Sticky Fingers', and 'Exile on Main St.' released on their own #Rolling Stones Records# label.
